Counting the Tears

As the tears drop,

The question is when will the pain stop,

Life feels like a disaster,

With a heavy heart

as our master,

The days seem surreal,

It’s hard to even feel,

Confusion has hijacked the brain,

Searching for answers that are hard to obtain,

Waiting for the change to come,

Yet, we just want the pain to be done,

Deep over the painful horizon,

Through the tears hope is rising,

Joy will be the answer we unpack,

As we fight to get our smile back,

This is not the end,

We will fight through the tears until we win,
